DFE CLIENT POLICY

 

1. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding their income, deductions, and all relevant tax documents. We are not responsible for errors due to incorrect or incomplete information.

 

2. DOCUMENT SUBMISSION

All required documents must be submitted before your appointment or within 24 hours of booking. Late submissions may delay your return processing.


3. TURNAROUND TIME

Standard processing time is 24-72 hours once all documents are received. Complex returns may take longer and will be communicated clearly.


4. PAYMENT POLICY

Payment for services is due at the time of filing. If you are using a Refund Transfer (fees taken from your refund), your payment will be automatically deducted. No return will be filed without signed consent and payment agreement.


5. REFUND STATUS

Once your return is filed, we are not responsible for IRS or state refund delays. Clients may track their refund using the IRS “Where’s My Refund?” tool or state tax sites.


6. COMMUNICATION

We will communicate primarily through email, text, or our secure client portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for responses during tax season.


7. CONFIDENTIALITY

Your personal and financial information is kept strictly confidential and protected in accordance with all applicable privacy laws.


8. REVISIONS & AMENDMENTS

If a return needs to be amended due to a client’s error or omission, an additional fee will apply. If the error is on our end, we will correct it at no charge.


9. NO-SHOWS & CANCELLATIONS

Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. No-shows may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
